Camp Horizons was founded in 1979 by sisters Chris and Kathleen McNaboe, both special education teachers, to provide an away-from-home camping experience for students with developmental disabilities. Their mission quickly evolved into Horizons, Inc.: a multifaceted nonprofit now serving nearly 1,700 people annually, which also provides programs for supported living, educational support and supported employment.
This project involved the demolition of several structures to make way for the construction three new cabin buildings of approximately 4,888 sf each. Additional components of the project included a new 1,688 sf storage building, along with a 680 sf laundry building, Cabins, Barn & Laundry Building
